Information about me:
I believe in creating an classroom environment where all students develop a passion of learning about the world around them. I also believe in developing skills that students can use in possible future career fields.
Education/Degrees Earned:
I have a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wyoming in Secondary Science Education with majors in earth science and environmental science with minor in biology. I also have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix. I am a certified post secondary CTE educator and adjunct professor at Red Rocks Community College.
Workplace Experience:
This is my 19th year teaching and 19th year here at Arvada West. This year I will be teaching Environmental Systems: Water and Advanced Studies in Water Quality.
I also coach the boys and girls diving teams and was the 2020 CHASSA Dive Coach of the Year.
