About Me:
I am so excited to join the AWest Community as a new member of the Family and Consumer Sciences Team! I grew up in Windsor, CO which is in Northern Colorado. I attended Windsor High School, where I found my passion for teaching. In High School, I was involved in the Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). FCCLA grew my passion for the values of Family and Consumer Sciences.
After high school, I attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO for one year. After that year, I transferred to Colorado State University. I then completed my Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from Colorado State University.
I can’t wait to learn more about the Arvada and Jefferson County community this year, and look forward to a great year! Go Wildcats!
