Profe Fierstos
¡Hola! My name is Anthony Fierstos, and I teach Spanish II and III here at Arvada West High School. This is my 13th year as a world language teacher. Foreign language is a passion, and I love to practice Spanish with my students. After studying Spanish in Veracruz, Mexico, I joined the Peace Corps as a volunteer in Paraguay. There, I taught elementary school English and Science and learned Guaraní, the indigenous language. Later, I taught kindergarten through middle school English for several years in South Korea. This is my 7th year focusing on Spanish and my 1st year here at Arvada West.
