Scholarships & Financial Aid
Arvada West students considering applying for college scholarships or other financial aid have access to numerous resources.
Federal Student Aid
It's never too early – or too late – to explore your options for college or career school. Studentaid.gov lays out key steps in preparing for college and provides resources that can help along the way. Explore federal financial aid options including scholarships, grants and student loans. This site is also where students access and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Studentaid.gov is the only source for the official FAFSA form. Other sites claiming to allow you to complete the FAFSA are fraudulent.
Smart Track College Funding
Arvada West provides access to SMARTTRACK College Funding to help families learn how to pay for college, save money and keep their retirements safe. Students concerned they won’t qualify for financial aid, haven’t saved enough, or don’t have a plan to cover the costs of college, SMARTTRACK® can help. SMARTRACK offers free and for-fee services.
Create your complimentary account or log in at any time (do not create a new account).
College Covered
Not sure how to pay for college? College Covered breaks down the financial aid process and the options to help students cover college expenses.
CAFAA
The Colorado Association of Financial Aid Administrators provides a library of informational videos available to answer financial aid questions.
